We LOVE Etsy

etsy_page000Finding a great deal always brings a smile to any bride’s face. You will be smiling all day once you visit one of our hidden treasures… Etsy!   You can find everything from vintage birdcage veils to custom wedding invitations  This is a one stop shop for unique items at an affordable price.

Etsy is an online marketplace (imagine a ton of little shops all under one roof) where one can buy and sell handmade items, as well as vintage goods and crafting supplies. It was developed in 2005 by 3 gentlemen who were unhappy with the way handmade goods were being bought and sold on sites such as ebay and getcrafty.  Their idea to start Etsy was brilliant!  Etsy now has over  100,000 sellers worldwide and has been featured in The New York Times,  Rolling Stone Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, Good Morning America, The Martha Stewart Show, CNN and much more.

Still not convinced that Etsy is a bride’s dream come true? We did a broad search using the key word “wedding”. Check out the photos above for just a few of the amazing items we located within minutes! Looking for something particular? Just type in a description… the possibilities are endless!  Etsy offers “…(unique) versions of  mass-produced items”. We recently purchased a whimsical custom money/card box and a monogrammed aisle runner.

After countless hours spent on Esty (ok, we admit… some of it was for us personally!), our favorite find has to be Amanda Archer. She makes the most  fabulous bridesmaid dresses!!   Check out Etsy and share with us your favorite finds…we can’t wait to hear what you discover!

Hi!
You featured a bride (Tracy and Paul) that used one of our Button Bouquets. Tracy found out bouquet on etsy and I just wanted to thank you for putting a picture of the bouquet on your blog!
