Our Stylish Green Wedding Photo Shoot

We had a mahhhvelous time designing this eco-friendly wedding that was captured by two talented Denver wedding photographers, Audrey Hannah Photo and Vanessa from Flourish Studio Photography. They took some amazing shots! This inspirational wedding shoot was based around vintage literature while incorporating green and reusable items. We put in a lot of cute details too. The bow tie and table runner are made from old book pages, the hanging books are all antique, the herb favors are to inspire new growth in a guest’s home, and everything is truly “classic vintage” like the suit that he is wearing and the 1920′s lounge furniture.

The flowers are pretty much out of this world! They were designed by one of our new favorite floral designers, Cori Cook Floral Design, and of course everything you see is locally grown. Keeping with the green theme, one of the gowns was designed by Adele Wechsler, who uses environmentally friendly fabrics. All of the inspirational decor was purchased from antique or vintage shops. Nothing you see here is brand new, all used, making it truly unique. Everything has been re-used into something beautiful without a heavy environmental impact. Enjoy!

This photo shoot was also featured on The Wedding Chicks. Be sure to check it out!

I really love the style and decor of the wedding! I’m looking for a suit like this for my fiance for our wedding, and I can’t find one anywhere. Do you have any suggestions? We’re getting married in Indiana. Thanks!

The suits are from Boss vintage apparel here in Denver… I still have them if she would like to purchase one. They are Made from a small guy though.

I am totally interested in the suit. One for my fiance would be awesome, but if you have more (for the groomsmen) that would be incredible too. My fiance is thin, but broad-shouldered. You can e-mail me and we can discuss the size and price. That would be amazing!! Thanks for replying!

Sure, we simply bought old books from thrift stores (and Goodwill) and tore the pages out and attached them to a cheap runner so that the pages covered the runner entirely. Its very simple….just get creative and you will have fun and it will look great!

Any tips on how to create those vintage book page table runners?

Can you tell me what material the groom’s suit is? My wedding is having a vintage theme also. Love the table set up, so cute!
