We love love love this weeks vendor of the week!  As wedding coordinators we have the pleasure to visit venues all across the country.  While we always appreciate each one, there was recently one that REALLY captured our attention and stood out from them all…Crooked Willow Farms!

Crooked Willow Farms is located just 25 miles outside of Denver (wow!) in the exclusive Plum Creek Valley. This 90 acre property offers multiple hand-crafted event spaces that are rich in history, amenities and breathtaking views.  It can accommodate a small celebration for 50 people or a large  celebration over 500 people! 

From the guest count to the property, everything is grand at Crooked Willow!  As you arrive to the property you are greeted by a charming white picket fence surrounding the perimeter of the property, in front and behind you are perfect views of the Rocky Mountains, and as you make your way up the drive way you cannot help but to notice the gorgeous array of Colorado wild flowers surrounding a pond filled with swans.  This is only the beginning….

Each event space at Crooked Willow is as charming and incredible as the next one!  The Events Lawn is ideal for Cereonys with magnificant views of the Rocky Mountains sourrounding you.  It would make any guest swoon!  Or, if you were having a smaller wedding than you could have the option of using the Courtyard which has a to die for aisle sourrounded by Colorado Wild Flowers! Another option for this space would be a cocktail hour…the perfect spot for guests to take in the lovely smell of flowers while enjoying a refressing glass of wine!  To the right of the Courtyard is The Carriage House Ballroom.  With its rustic interior design and four timeless chandeliers it makes for a perfect spot for any celebration!  Within that barn is the Kings Corridor which has multiple doors open to the grand courtyard allowing the landscape to provide a perfect backdrop for any celebration!  On the otherside of the Courtyard is  Lola’s Loft…and its as darling as it sounds!  Designed with rustic hammered steel railings, cathedral windows and ciculard stiars, the is the spot to P-A-R-T-Y!  Named after their 600 pound pig, Lolas loft is ideal for you to bring in a band and dance the night away!  In addition to these woudnerful event spacas, Crooked Willow also offers an indoor and outdoor pavilion which can accomidate larger celebrations…even up to 1,000! 

One thing is for certain when considering a venue…visit Crooked Willow Farms! This week’s spotlight vendor is the FABULOUS wedding photographer, Otto Schulze. How fabulous you might ask? Not only did he capture the most amazing moments at one of our weddings, but his work has been featured in the annual wedding issue of Rangefinder and he was awarded Bride’s Choice award last year. In addition, the AGWPJA ranked him as one of the Top 15 fine art wedding photographers in the world! Otto truly believes that no two weddings are the same (hey… great minds think alike!), therefore his work never reflects the typical “photography mold”. He is genuine, friendly, polite and just a delight to be around (not to mention he has THE most adorable South African accent).  We feel truly honored to have worked with him!
