When you open the pages of the February edition of Cosmopolitan be sure to look for one our favorite couples! The story began when Matt was featured as Cosmopolitan’s 2006 Bachelor of the Year. While he never expected to meet the love of his life through a magazine, little did he know what his future held. Stephanie, Racquel’s close friend, may have initially played cupid, there is no denying the sparks between the two!
Racquel wanted the wedding to have a French Glamour vibe. Denver’s historic Oxford Hotel set the tone perfectly. A soft color palette of of peach, champagne, and mauve was complimented with candlelight and crystal. Romantic chiffon loosely draped within strands of café bulbs created an intimate setting. The night’s festivities were set the music from the 40‘s. One of our favorite elements of this wedding was the coffee cart that housed a vintage copper plated coffee maker! Guests got more than just a cup of coffee though… each cup was topped off with a chocolate covered spoon. A sweet ending to this fairy tale wedding.

Throughout our 8 years of planning, we have almost seen it all…ALMOST! As we try to incorporate unique and personalized details into all of our clients events, we really try to focus on there personalities, there overall theme, as well as the “vision” for there event. One of the easiest and most cost effective ways to set your wedding apart from others is to get creative with Bouquets. Whether it be the Bridal bouquet, the Bridesmaids, or the Moms, there are fun ways to make them all stand out from each other, as well as focusing on making yours special as well.
Whether it be color blocking, where you delicately focus each color in a specific area, rather than mixing them, giving each bridesmaid a different color, or a different flower in the same color, there are so many fun and creative ideas. Or, have the Bride carry a mix of each solid flower that the Bridesmaids are carrying. Or for that matter, everyone can carry white. Better yet, have the bouquets match the bridesmaids dresses for a more monochromatic look.
In addition, with the Bridal bouquet, you can incorporate beautiful touches such as lockets with family photos, or antique broaches that have been passed down throughout your family. One of our brides even incorporated a Cinderella shoe into her bouquet that her fiance’ had proposed to her with. Also, don’t be afraid to buck the trend of the bride carrying white. In fact, we have even had the bride carry color and the Bridal Party carry white. Or, have the Bridesmaids carry your favorite herb like Lavender to match your color palette. Whatever you decide, just remember, there are no rules. And at Table 6 Productions, we love to create the trend, not follow it. Enjoy!

We will be honest and say that we didn’t even know porta-potty companies had blogs! However, the company that was named “America’s Best Restroom” emailed to let us know they featured Table 6 Productions! I know what you are thinking… what could Don’s Johns possibly have to say when it comes to weddings? Actually, quite a bit! As they noted in their post, brides hosting an outdoor wedding need almost EVERYTHING (yes, including port-potties) brought in. But, if you are imagining blue stalls often seen on construction sites then think again! Their luxury restroom trailer is nicer than many venues’ restrooms!
So the next time you start envisioning your gorgeous outdoor celebration remember to carry the upscale feel through every aspect… yes, even the restrooms!

You hear us say time and time again… “We love decor!” Well, we have found something that we love just as much… a band out of Miami, FL known as Libido.
With three rooms and 1000+ guests, the TSE Starts Here party was our biggest undertaking to date. Luckily for us, Steve and Kara of Tropics Entertainment were on our team. From the moment Libido hit the stage they were the talk of the TSE conference! The band accomplished the unimaginable when it packed the dance floor at an event typically considered the TSE icebreaker. Performing everything from Motown to Top 40, the band kept guests in awe. The best part? The members are super friendly, easy-going and a blast to be around. Just ask 6 Chicks, Jackie and Brooke! They had the privilege of hanging out with the band in Blue Martini’s VIP area the next night
We can’t thank Tropics Entertainment and Libido enough, as they were truly the component that made our party fabulous! So, the next time you need a band to take your event from great to spectacular consider contacting them. Yes, they will travel!

It is always amazing to us how the little details of an event are inspired, created and executed. It could be a pattern inspired from a piece of fabric or a throw pillow found in a furniture store or fabulous home decor magazine, or a broach belonging to a family member, or even a monogram designed by the Bride and Groom themselves. We have seen so many details created from one simple thought, idea, story or object. Take our client Heather’s wedding from last fall. It began with a small purchase of letters from Restoration Hardware to a fun detail that was carried throughout the entire reception decor. Originally, she bought her new last name initial “V” and “HVC”. When she showed them to us, and wondered how they could be incorporated, we immediately asked if there were other letters available. Her answer – of course! So, we had her purchase more fun ones such as XOXO, I DO, LOVE, etc and we incorporated them into the guests’ tables. It was enjoyable for the guests to walk around the room and see all of the fun combinations paired with the gorgeous jeweled picture frames of various places the couple had traveled. The lesson here – you can find inspiration anywhere. So try to think outside the box and discover all of the amazing objects, patterns, heirlooms and designs that can be utilized to build your wedding inspiration. ENJOY!

Wanda and Josh met their match….on Match.com! Wanda envisioned an icy color palette of Tiffany blue, cobalt blue and grey for modern winter wedding. After what Wanda and Josh thought was the perfect venue fell through we found something even better, Lincoln Restaurant in DC. We created a wintery wonderland that combined Josh’s simple rustic taste with Wanda’s modern glam.
For the ceremony we kept décor simple, but brought the winter indoors with a glittery aisle runner that alluded to a blanket of snow. Edge Design created glittering branches that lined the aisle and dazzled with crystals hanging from the branches. Wanda and Josh left in a 1952 White Bentley for photo’s with the amazingly talented photographer, Abby Jiu.
Paying homage to one of America’s favorite presidents, Lincoln features a floor made completely of pennies (799,997 of them to be exact), the Emancipation Proclamation scrolled in lights across the back wall and an amazing mason jar chandelier. We enhanced the space with candles and simplistic florals. Metal snowflake drink picks, the mercury glass decanters of the hot chocolate station and the nod to their start with custom matchbooks were just a few of our favorite details. We decided to play off the venue’s eye-catching red doors by our own pops of red through the signature cocktail, aptly names the Gettysburg Address, and red velvet cake pops!
After a twinkling sparkler farewell Wanda and Josh left for a romantic horse and carriage ride around the White House, but our evening wasn’t over yet. We headed over to Hotel Palomar to set an intimate dinner for two in the couples wedding suite. Re-purposing the wedding flowers, candles and aisle runner we created an insanely romantic setting for Wanda and Josh to enjoy a little quite time as husband and wife.
We loved the unique touches of the daytime wedding and the super romantic idea of an intimate dinner for two after. Wanda and Josh could not have been a more perfect and wonderful couple to work with and we wish them a lifetime of happiness! Congrats on finding your Match!

It never gets old being featured on a blog, or in a magazine, and we absolutely love being featured on “Style Me Pretty”. We have actually had the pleasure of meeting the founder, Abby Larson, at Engage, as well as plan a wedding for one of her amazing employees, Annie, whose wedding we showed a few weeks ago in Miami, FL.
This morning, one of our Georgia weddings, planned by Mary Whelan from Table 6 Productions, who now runs our San Francisco, CA office is being featured. The wedding exudes class, elegance and is a timeless display of many gorgeous details. So many brides come into our office and say they want “Classic Elegance”. Well, this would be our definition of that. For the full story, check out the link below. ENJOY!
